Do the bank searches violate client privacy ?

The legal provisions on bank client confidentiality allow information to be provided only to legal inheritors and those persons with power of attorney over former bank client accounts. The Research Office examines the attached documents to the search request questionnaire to determine the claimant’s entitlement. In this manner – and contrary to rumour – bank client confidentiality is guaranteed.
